Exercise and Cognition Course
Encourage well-being in your classroom and improve students’ cognition by introducing exercise in your instruction—whatever level or subject you teach. Through the six-week online course, Exercise and Cognition: An Introduction to an Active Classroom, you can learn how to track student progress using the trackandfitness.com computer program, which visually tracks students’ progress in footsteps across America, and how to measure the benefit of an active classroom.

for information and visit www.trackandfitness.com , Registration starts January 6th. Exercise and Cognition also is the prerequisite to a three-credit course, certification program for teachers in Exercise and Learning and the Brain, to be offered in the summer of 2010.
This course introduces all teachers K–12, as well as college instructors, how to include exercise in the classroom to improve cognition. With obesity among children, adolescents, and young adults an epidemic in America, teachers and administrators are challenged to encourage healthy living among American students.
